Hanken’s Annual Report 2020 published
The year 2020 was a special year for Hanken as well. As the first university in Finland, we switched to strictly online teaching in mid-March, and 90 percent of the students have given the remote teaching a good grade. We have also allocated extra resources in developing support services to students to fight loneliness and promote study success. Examples of our new or expanded forms of service are a study coach, a psychotherapist, study circles and training of students who participate in the student union's support activities.
Despite the pandemic, we can state that the year has been very successful as we have managed to maintain as good a level of both graduation and finances as before, while the study pace has, in fact, increased compared to previous years. In addition to this, our corona related research has gained good visibility in both national and international media.
