The European university ENGAGE.EU
Since 2022, Hanken has collaborated with ENGAGE.EU, and in November 2023 we became full members of this European university.
According to the European Commission, European university alliances are "a campus" for higher education between universities that offer curricula where learners and staff can participate in exchanges at all levels. To discover the offerings, please click below.

The European university alliance offers visiting research stays for doctoral researchers and PhD courses to enrolled doctoral students at all partner universities. Please have a look at the course catalogue, to find out more.
ENGAGE.EU offers international teaching experience to early-stage and more senior researchers, e.g. through the development of signature courses, the participation in Summer/Winter schools and in the Joint Programme in Digital Transformation.
Within ENGAGE.EU, there are recurring seed-funding opportunities for lecturers and researchers. As teaching staff, you have access to the Academic Initiative Incubator that also supports the development of joint teaching initiatives. Researchers can make use of the ENGAGE.EU Research Label that directly supports joint research opportunities.
The ENGAGE.EU Think Tank serves as the basis for a future Advanced Study Center of the alliance. It brings researchers together to share their expertise with each other and leading experts from business and government.
There is also a publications platform, and all researchers at Hanken are encouraged to sign up to the research community platform to find like-minded researchers and funding opportunities within the ENGAGE.EU community.
