AoL: Competency goals and learning outcomes

Competency goals and learning outcomes are formulated for all Hanken programmes.

Based on Hanken's mission and degree regulations competency goals have been formulated that describe the competencies you as a student will obtain with our education. Thereafter, measurable learning outcomes have been developed so that we can see how well you achieve the competency goals. There are separate competency goals for the Bachelor’s Programme, Master’s Programme, Hanken Executive MBA Programme and the Hanken PhD Programme.

Each programme has four competency goals that are based on the following general knowledge and competence areas:

  1. Knowledge in economic sciences
  2. Analytical and critical thinking skills
  3. Communication skills
  4. Global competences
