Doctors shall keep their hats on throughout the whole ceremony but should temporarily be taken off during the national anthem. The hat should then again be put on when exiting the hall.

After the national anthem, the audience remains standing. The procession leaves the room in the following order: Conferrer, honorary doctors, promoti, rector, deans, professors, professors of practice, directors, head marshal last. After the procession have left the hall, the audience may exit.
