Student life

To make sure that you profit from your study time, Hanken's student union, The Student Union of Hanken School of Economics, SHS, is at your service. SHS's main operations are in Helsinki, while SSHV, the student association of Hanken in Vaasa, fulfils SHS's duties in Vaasa. Regardless of where you study, thanks to SHS and SSHV, you will find activities for you – even outside of your studies.  

SHS and SSHV also makes sure that all students get a tutor group or tutors in the beginning of their studies, who will help you navigate your studies, student life, bureaucracy and maybe a new city.  

It is also thanks to the student union and the association that you get to take advantage of many nice student discounts and events.
