Here you will find information on the application and different admission paths to the Bachelor in Business programme. Our website is being updated, final criteria for 2025 will be published by the end of September in the Studyinfo.fi portal.

Application

The application period for the Bachelor in Business programme is from 8 January 2025–22 January 2025 at 3 p.m. The admission results will be published in the of May at the latest.  

Admission requirements

  1. Upper secondary school certificate from Finland/High school diploma​ that gives eligibility to higher education in the country of completion
  2. SAT or ACT test score (if applicable)
  3. Language requirement

Admission paths

Admission to the Bachelor programme is based on SAT or ACT-aptitude test or certificates, or a combination of the two, which makes for the following paths for admission:

  • a quota of 50 % is reserved for admission based on a SAT or ACT test for applicants with general upper secondary education completed outside of Finland,
  • a quota of 40 % is reserved for first-time applicants holding a Finnish upper secondary school certificate
  • a quota of 10 % is reserved for applicants applying based on a SAT or ACT test and holding a Finnish upper secondary school certificate, and lastly
  • you can apply via student transfer from another Finnish university.

You can apply for Bachelor’s degree studies with any upper secondary education that gives eligibility to higher education in the country of completion.

The certificates that can be considered for direct admission without an SAT or ACT test are a Finnish matriculation examination, International Baccalaureate, European Baccalaureate or Reifeprüfung/Deutsches Internationales Abitur certificate completed in Deutsche Schule Helsinki.
