Rewards for teaching
This year, the following persons were rewarded:
Patrik Paetau for Basic course in Excel
Kristina Heinonen for Service and customer management
Gauthier Duche for the course ”Travailler en français en entreprise”(basic course in French)
Nikodemus Solitander and David Grant for CSR: from principle to practice
Marit Nilsson-Väre, Sofia Stolt and Mervi Vuolama-Ristola for Mötesteknik – Kokoustekniikka
Åke Finne for Praktikkursen
Rewards for administrative staff
Hanken’s entire personnel had the possibility to nominate a person or a group from the administrative staff worthy of a special acknowledgement.
Rector, together with the HR director, have decided to reward the following persons:
Johan Isaksson for being helpful and dedicated, a real corner stone of the IT-services
Jonna Mäenpää for having a positive and effective attitude and developing processes
Sara Schultz for being positive, conscientious and a true expert in her field
Marianne Dube for her active role in developing the library teaching
Kristina Wallin for her dedicated work for Hanken and the Hanken building in Vaasa
In addition to this, the distinctions given by The President of Finland 6.12.2017 to three members of Hanken staff were presented.
Knight, First Class, of the Order of the White Rose of Finland was awarded to Dean, Head of Department, Professor Sören Kock.
Knight of the Order of the White Rose of Finland was awarded to Associate Professor Henrik Palmén.
Cross of Merit of the Order of the White Rose of Finland was awarded to ICT-coordinator Kicka Lindroos.
During the Christmas coffee Rector also gave a special thanks to the persons retiring from Hanken this year:
Turid Hedlund, Mauno Lindroos, Therese Aminoff och Ralf Forsell.
