Juhana Vartiainen new Professor of Practice at Hanken

The Mayor of Helsinki, PhD Juhana Vartiainen has been appointed Professor of Practice at Hanken School of Economics. He will be at the Department of Finance and Economics for the period 1 August 2025 - 31 July 2027.

Kristina Pentti-von Walzel new chair of Hanken's donation committee

The Board of Hanken School of Economics has appointed Kristina Pentti-von Walzel as new chair of the School's donation committee. Pentti-von Walzel has a Master’s degree from Hanken and is the founder and CEO of Laponie of Scandinavia, a skincare company based in Helsinki.

Dare to Dream scholars: A unique year of learning and opportunities

Personal mentorship from PVH Corp's (Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger) CEO and Hanken alum Stefan Larsson, a week at the company’s headquarters in New York City and a behind-the-scenes visit to Calvin Klein's show during New York Fashion Week. Since then, Sánchez has been very busy helping a lot of organisations build more diverse, inclusive and equitable workplaces.
