The outcome of the project will be a review and analysis report and recommendations that help the Swedish Red Cross to define the role of logistics within the organization.

The Production and Operations Management Conference is organized by POMS, the Production and Operations Management Society, as an international conference intended to exchange novel ideas, methods, and developments in the production and operations world. The conference includes high quality invited research sessions, doctoral consortiums, workshops, tutorials, and subject specific mini-conferences. Currentlty in development, “Humanitarian Unwrapped”, little-sister podcast to “Sustainability Unwrapped”, shares the same conversational tone, where science meets practice, with a humanitarian focus.  

The Humanitarian Networks and Partnerships Weeks is a two week long conference organised by OCHA, held each year during spring time. HNPW is the largest event of its kind, providing a collaborative space for practitioners and experts from a large variety of humanitarian stakeholders. The HUMLOG Institute participates by hosting several interesting sessions about ongoing projects. This year the HUMLOG Institute is hosting 7 sessions.

The HUMLOG Institute arranges in collaboration with GBSN - Global Business School Network an international virtual competition, focused on developing local solutions to problems related to humanitarian logistics. The winning team will be offered a 5,000 USD prize to be used towards continuing education or training.
