John Broussard visiting Fulbright Distinguished Chair at Hanken

During fall 2016, Associate Professor John Broussard from Rutgers, State University of New Jersey, USA will be conducting research at Hanken

Professor Broussard is visiting within the agreement between Hanken and Fulbright Center. His main areas of research are financial risk management, international finance markets and high frequency trading impacts on investment performance. Broussard has been working with academic colleagues in Finland for over two decades.

-I want my Fulbright visit to add value to the efforts of the world-class researchers at Hanken by generating a foundation for continuing work, says Broussard.

The agreement between Hanken and the Fulbright Center provides prominent American scholars the opportunity to spend a period at Hanken. During their visit, the scholar will lecture or conduct research and contribute in disseminating Hanken’s research and knowledge within the business community and society. During the years 2016 and 2017, five Fulbright-Hanken Distinguished Chairs will visit Hanken.

Fulbright Center is a service organisation that specialises in academic exchange between Finland and North America. The main goal is to support the internationalisation of Finnish universities and research.
