Continued accreditation to Hanken Executive MBA Programme
On 31 May the Association of MBAs (AMBA) has announced that the organisation has renewed the accreditation of the Hanken Executive MBA programme for the next five years. Hanken has been AMBA-accredited since 2008.
- The accreditation is a sign of continued trust in the Hanken Executive MBA programme as regards programme design and development, as well as future potential. It also ensures both participants and alumni that the programme meets the highest international standards and is an investment worth making, says Programme Director Henrich Nyman.
- We will continue to focus on creating a comprehensive and integrated programme structure and on the individual support we can offer our participants in their learning process, Nyman continues.
With the AMBA reaccreditation Hanken continues as one of some 75 business schools world-wide that have earned all the three most prestigious international accreditations, AACSB, AMBA and EQUIS.
- International accreditations guarantee that we maintain high quality in both research, education, and our relation to the surrounding society, says Rector Karen Spens.
The decision to reaccredit the Hanken Executive MBA was made by AMBA's International Accreditation Advisory Board (IAAB). IAAB’s decision was based on the recommendations of an accreditation panel, consisting of both academic members from other European universities as well as AMBA staff, who visited Hanken in March and met programme faculty, students and alumni.
Hanken Executive MBA is a two-year, part-time programme conducted in English, with modules in, for example, strategy and leadership, marketing and sales, finance, accounting, and personal leadership development. The following programme will start in March 2017.
