The Academy of Finland has awarded Hanken 1.5 million euro in profiling funding for the period 2017-2021. The funding will be directed to strengthening cross-disciplinary research.

Scholars at Risk (SAR) is an international network of more than 460 higher education institutions in 35 countries working to protect threatened scholars. Hanken is one of ten Finnish universities to launch a Finnish collaboration SAR-network.

Hanken has received a donation of 250 000 euro from The Foundation for Economic Education (Liikesivistysrahasto). This is the foundation’s second donation which brings the total amount donated to the campaign HANKEN RETURNS to half a million euro.
