Hanken arranges a media training day especially for researchers on Tuesday 30 May at 10-12 in the Teachers' Lounge on the 5th floor at Hanken in Helsinki.
Scholars at Risk (SAR) is an international network of more than 460 higher education institutions in 35 countries working to protect threatened scholars. Hanken is one of ten Finnish universities to launch a Finnish collaboration SAR-network.
The Centre for Corporate Responsibility at Hanken arranged a project course in corporate social responsibility (CSR) and humanitarian logistics, which also included co-operation with companies and NGO’s.

A total of 1121 applications (2016: 1108) were filed within the deadline for the integrated BSc and MSc programme in Vaasa and Helsinki this year. The master’s programme in Swedish got 208 applications (2016: 197).
The financial statement for 2016, approved by the Board of Hanken in March, shows that Hanken established its position as an internationally recognised, competitive and research-oriented business school.
In its meeting on 5 April, the Academic Council (AC) approved of 9 master’s theses. AC noted that the theses tend to build up towards the last meetings of the semester.
