Master's Studies ( through 2024)
Hanken offers an English MSc. programme in Humanitarian Logistics and a Swedish major in Supply Chain Management and Social Responsibility (SCM & SR). As of 2025, we don't accept any new students to these programs. The two programs are merged into one program. Here you can find further information about the new program.
During MSc. studies in Humanitarian Logistics at Hanken, you gain a disctinct competitive edge by applying logistics and supply chain management concepts to the humanitarian context. Learning happens through relevant coursework, real-world examples from practicing humanitarian logisticians, and projects with organisations like the Finnish Red Cross and the United nations.
Supply Chain Management and Social Responsibility (SCM & SR) is another major offered at the Hanken, yet the programme is only available in Swedish. SCM & SR as major is similar to the one in Humanitarian Logistics, except the focus lies more heavily on suppy chain and sustainability issues at large. SCM & SR can be chosen as either a major or minor, and it is possible to combine it with courses from e.g, Humanitarian Logistics within the scope of elective studies. To study SCM&SR at the MSc. level, 30 ECTS with in the subject from prior studies is required. With this major, it is possible to take courses both in English and Swedish.
