Hanken invites you to attend the unveiling of the artwork "Tillväxt" 29 April 2022 at 14.00 and the following afterwork.

Welcome to attend the unveiling of the new artwork at Hankens courtyard Friday the 29th of April 2022 at 14.00! 
Programme: 

  • Unveiling art work and rector's speech, Hankens courtyard
  • Bubbly and mingle in the foyer with music performance of Henrik Wikström and Jennifer Holmberg
  • Happy Valborg

Registration in advance is not mandatory. However, we wish that as many as possible can sign up in advance through this link, in order for us to be able to estimate the amount of snacks and drinks.

"We at Aktia are very happy and proud to consign Aimo Tukiainens powerful sculpture at Hanken. Not only that the artwork 'Tillväxt' now after an exciting journey has found its deserving place, it can also be seen as a symbol for the students ambition to move foward", states Aktias CEO Mikko Ayub. 

The artwork is designed by Aimo Tukiainen (1917-1996). Tukiainen has also designed the Equestrian statue of Marshal Mannerheim and the fountain sculpture "Liikevoitto" that is located at Aalto-university in Töölö.
