Conference: Responsible Organising #2
In this conference, we aim at exploring how can we collectively and responsibly take on the challenges the world is facing.
The world is facing many sustainability challenges, from environmental degradation to increasing inequalities. At the same time, it is becoming more global and digitalized. To take on those challenges, each of us has a role to play, as individuals and as organisations. Hanken wants to be a front-runner in finding innovative solutions to these complexities and invites you to join forces in building a more inclusive, sustainable and responsible society!
In a plenary session with President Tarja Halonen and Roelof van Laar (former member of the Dutch parliament), we will talk about accountability mechanisms for Corporate Social Responsibility and explore the question: In business and society: Who is liable for what?
Following this session our keynotes, Nina Elomaa (Fazer) and Timo Vuori (International Chamber of Commerce Finland (ICC)) will discuss how to tackle business’s human rights challenges through legislation.
In the afternoon, there will be five workshops around various topics such as gender equality, inclusion, financial technologies, sustainable finance, mobility and migration.
In addition to the seminar there will be an exhibition in the Foyer which you can enjoy during the networking breaks.
Willing to be change-maker? Join us to get research based insights on current world challenges, to engage in discussion with various experts, to enlarge your perspectives through the diversity of topics tackled and to network with other change makers and experts.
The conference is fully complimentary and includes a lunch and refreshments. Welcome!
