Ingalill Aspholm new Professor of Practice at Hanken

Chief Supervisor Ingalill Aspholm has been appointed Professor of Practice at the Department of Accounting and Commercial Law at Hanken. Aspholm is an expert in financial market regulation, sustainability standards and reporting frameworks.

Ingalill Aspholm holds a PhD from Hanken and an LL.M. degree from Hamburg University. During her career, she has held leading roles in the fields of regulation and sustainability, and as an expert on the EU Platform for Sustainable Finance. Professor Aspholm has particular experience in ESG (environmental, social and governance) issues and sustainability-related reporting.

“I look forward to the opportunity to contribute my experience in sustainable finance and regulation to help students understand the complex links between financial markets, sustainability and risk management. By sharing my experience and insights, I hope to inspire the next generation of leaders and help them navigate a rapidly changing and sustainable business world,” says Ingalill Aspholm.

As Professor of Practice at Hanken, Aspholm will give guest lectures, head educational programmes and research on sustainability and risk management, as well as develop strategic projects and assist in policy development.
