Hanken Director Sofia Stolt appointed as member of the Matriculation Examination Board
“The fact that someone from Hanken is appointed as a representative on the Board shows that there is an appreciation for the expertise in Swedish at a Swedish-speaking business school,” says Sofia Stolt.
She represents the subject Swedish as native language and will work actively for the development of the examination, the preparation of the exam in Swedish, and the assessment of the exams.
The Matriculation Examination Board is responsible for the management and implementation of the national matriculation examination. Currently, the Board has 25 members and approximately 350 expert members. Stolt has previously served as an expert member of the Matriculation Examination Board and worked as an examiner in Swedish as native language and literature.
“The Matriculation Examination is very important for students applying to Hanken and is a so-called high-stakes exam, i.e. an exam that forms the basis for admission to higher education. It will be both fun and exciting to represent Swedish as a native language and be involved in developing the exam for those who complete their upper secondary education”, Stolt concludes.
