Fulbright Scholar Terry Esper is visiting Hanken
Dr. Terry Esper is Professor of Logistics at The Ohio State University’s Fisher College of Business. He has been published in top-tier academic journals and industry outlets, and is Board Chairman of the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals, one of the largest global organisations for supply chain executives and scholars.
One of Professor Esper’s primary research areas is last mile logistics operations, with a particular focus on how last mile logistics services can enhance customer service experience.
However, recently he has begun to explore a broadened perspective on this topic to include the social, societal, and well-being aspects of last mile logistics, and that is what he wants to explore more while at Hanken.
“The social responsibility focus here at Hanken provides a community of scholars with whom I can engage with to expand my viewpoints regarding the role, and importance, of the social/societal components of logistics”, says Professor Esper.
In April Terry Esper will speak on his research at a seminar at Hanken.
