Occupational Safety
The Consultation Committee (together with the occupational safety director and -delegate) functions as Hankens occupational safety committee.
Hankens Gender Equality Plan has been prepared and is followed up by the Gender Equality committee.
Occupational safety
Hanken's occupational safety representative is Ida Borgar. Ida is also a member of the Consultation committee.
The employees elect representatives to speak for them in the context of cooperation in occupational safety and health matters e.g., the occupational safety representative. All monthly paid employees have the right to vote. Information about up-coming elections is given separately.
The occupational safety representative represents the employees in occupational health and safety cooperation matters with the employer. It is the occupational safety representative's duty to for example look into the work environment at the workplace as well as issues that affect the safety and health of the employees.
At Hanken the Consultation committee also functions as the Occupational safety committee. There by the occupational safety representative attends the meetings of the Consultation committee. The main tasks of the Occupational safety committee include making proposals for development regarding occupational safety and health to the employer, monitoring the implementation of the occupational safety and health policy and occupational health care, and making proposals regarding them.
You can read more about the duties of the occupational safety representative here Opens in new window .

In matters relating to early support, please contact any of the members of Hanken's Occupational Safety (please see contact dertails above) or the HR unit.
