This exclusive collaboration invites one company each year to work closely with advanced marketing students and faculty on a real-world business challenge related to service-driven strategy.

Grounded in customer insight and marketing theory, the project offers your organization fresh, research-based perspectives on topics such as service innovation, customer experience, branding, or business model transformation. Multidisciplinary student teams apply analytical, creative, and strategic thinking to collect data, explore opportunities, and deliver actionable recommendations—culminating in a final pitch of innovative solutions tailored to your needs. Previous partners have used the collaboration to unlock new ideas, discover emerging talent, and gain a deeper understanding of their market and customers.

The 2024 project course Transformative Service Strategy, in collaboration with company partner Fazer explored how spontaneous, interactive moments, such as pop-ups and photo booths, can help create emotional connections between consumers and brands. These aren’t just fleeting experiences—they’re opportunities to share meaningful moments and create lasting memories that engage consumers on a deeper level.

The students’ solutions also highlighted the importance of self-care—recognizing that meaningful value often begins with fostering balance and well-being, which can ripple outward in reciprocal ways. Both the students and Fazer emphasized how genuine and sustainable connections benefit both individuals and the broader community.
