Awards and distinctions at Rector's mulled wine event 2023
The following persons were rewarded for successful development of teaching:
Larissa Becker for being able to in a short time develop a new course where theory and practice successfully meet.
Henry Jarva for successfully using a hybrid teaching approach where lectures were physically delivered in Helsinki and students from Vaasa followed the via Teams, and vice versa.
Katja Peltola and Charlotta Sundström for important work in developing the course package that supports Finnish-speaking second language students at the beginning of their Swedish-language studies.
Annika Ravald (Vaasa) has made extraordinary efforts to include business contacts in her teaching and has a long-lasting, positive attitude towards and continuous development of teaching.
The Hanken Support Foundation awarded the following persons:
- Hanken Research Award: Joakim Wincent
- Hanken Service Award: Tove Ahlskog-Pursiainen
- Hanken Teaching Award: Susanna Taimitarha
A distinction for 25 years of service were given to Åke Finne, Pia Polsa, Denise Salin and Kristina Wallin (Vaasa).
