This year, Helsinki Mayor Juhana Vartiainen opens the new academic year at Hanken School of Economics on 1 September 2021 with a greeting from the City of Helsinki. During the spring, a course in cultural sustainability and communications was organized for the first time at Hanken. The course was a response to the students' interest in courses in the humanities.
The results from the joint entrance exam in economic sciences have now been published for Hanken’s Bachelor degree programme in Helsinki and Vaasa. In June 2021 the entrance examination for future BSc students was arranged under strict security measures.
Hanken School of Economics in Helsinki has had a grand piano in frequent use for about 50 years. The instrument is used during festivities and is otherwise available in the foyer for students to play it. Now our instrument, however, needs to retire.
