Subject Specific Requirements
In addition to the general requirements, the subjects below have chosen to apply major specific requirements.
The applicant must have taken enough courses in Asset Pricing and Corporate Finance and has at least 5 credits in Econometrics. The applicant's Master's thesis should have received a minimum evaluation of "good" (on the scale excellent, very good, good, satisfactory, fair) or equivalent, or be of corresponding standard in cases where grades are not given. Admission to doctoral studies in Finance with specialization in Statistics requires that the applicant has taken enough courses in Asset Pricing, Corporate Finance, Econometrics, Statistics, Probability and Mathematics. |

If the thesis is to comprise of a series of published research articles – which is the format the department recommends – a description of the statement objective, literature, method and data for the first project (article) should be presented in the research plan. In addition, there should be some preliminary ideas, not necessarily including literature reviews, of how at least two other articles could be written within the same problem area. |
