Here you will find step-by-step instructions for applying to the Hanken PhD Programme 2025.

How to apply

1. Familiarize yourself with the requirements

Familiarize yourself with our majors, supervisors and admission requirements.
Make sure your research topic is covered by Hanken and start collecting the required attachments.

2. Submit your application

Complete the application in the application portal Studyinfo.fi after the application period has started and upload all required attachments.
Take all tests (language and/or GMAT/GRE-tests) before the end of the application deadline.

3. Processing of applications

The Admission Services evaluate your general eligibility.
Applications that fulfil the general admission requirements are forwarded to the programme or programmes you applied to for academic assessment. Based on their proposal it is then the rector who makes the final admission decision.

4. Receiving the admission results

All admitted students will receive information on how to accept the admission offer with the admission offer e-mail.
All applicants have the right to lodge an appeal of the admission decision.
