Information
Erling-Persson Centre for Entrepreneurship (EPCE) is known for its excellence in research and knowledge development within the field of entrepreneurship.
The ambition of the centre is to daringly test new things and do things in a different and innovative way.
The key resources of the centre are faculty from the subject Entrepreneurship, Management and Organisation at Hanken School of Economics.
Research, development, and experimentation
Research is published in the most prominent scientific journals, such as Academy of Management Review, Academy of Management Journal, but also in leading industry journals such as Harvard Business Review. We have received several global awards for our science. At the Erling-Persson Centre for Entrepreneurship we are also firm believers in the importance of sharing research results with communities outside of the academic sector. Thus, our faculty and affiliated members focus on transforming research results into practical use via teaching and collaboration with the business community. The results are tested and validated both within courses at Hanken, and from joint activities and engagements with the business community.
The research centre is named after a significant endowment made by the Erling-Persson Family Foundation in connection to the fundraising campaign Hanken 100.
