Hanken’s growing collection of MOOCs currently includes eight MOOCs in various subjects:

Learn from legends

The “Hanken Legends” MOOC series gives you the opportunity to learn from some of Hanken’s most distinguished teachers and researchers.

• Principles of Service Management Opens in new window : An introduction to service research, customer relations, and value creation. With internationally renowned service researcher Professor Emeritus Christian Grönroos.
• Principles of Wealth Management Opens in new window : Learn the basic concepts of finance and wealth management, and how to grow and manage wealth over time. In collaboration with finance expert Dr. Björn Wahlroos.

Work for sustainable development

Hanken’s MOOCs on sustainable development give you tools and insights on how you can work for different aspects of sustainability in your professional and personal life.

HUMLOG Institute presents: focus on logistics

Hanken’s internationally renowned HUMLOG Institute Opens in new window has developed a series of MOOCs about different areas of logistics.

• Introduction to Humanitarian Logistics Opens in new window : Learn the basics in humanitarian logistics and about the role that logistics has in humanitarian crises.
• Företagslogistik Opens in new window : An introduction to logistics and supply chain management. Note: given in Swedish.
• Health Emergency Response to a Pandemic: An Integrated Social Science Perspective Opens in new window : Learn how we can better respond to global pandemics such as COVID-19. Developed in the EU-funded HERoS project Opens in new window in collaboration with Delft University of Technology Opens in new window , Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam Opens in new window , and The Open University Opens in new window .

The calendar below shows when Hanken's different MOOCs are offered. By clicking on a course, you can see more information about the course in question, including when the course is facilitated, a link to the course page on FutureLearn, and a link to the course description in Sisu.

Hanken’s MOOCs are available both to Hanken students and to anyone interested in the courses. Read more below about different options for taking Hanken's MOOCs.

Hanken students

• You can take all Hanken MOOCs free of charge on the FutureLearn platform Opens in new window . This only requires you to create a FutureLearn user account.
• Hanken students can upgrade Hanken's MOOCs on the FutureLearn platform free of charge. By upgrading the course, you get extended access to the course material and a course certificate once you complete the course. See instructions here. Opens in new window
• If you want to receive study credits for a MOOC, as a Hanken degree student you can take courses at Hanken that contain MOOCs as part of the course (see table below). The courses contain the MOOC and additional work. The teacher will provide you with a separate enrolment link for the course on FutureLearn, which gives you the same access to the material as with an upgrade. Others

• You can take all Hanken MOOCs free of charge on the FutureLearn platform Opens in new window . This only requires you to create a FutureLearn user account.
• If you want to receive a course certificate, you can upgrade the course on the FutureLearn platform. This requires you to pay a course fee.
• If you want to receive study credits for a MOOC, you can take courses at Hanken that contain MOOCs as part of the course through Hanken's Open University (see table below). The courses contain the MOOC and additional work. The teacher will provide you with a separate enrolment link for the course on FutureLearn, which gives you the same access to the material as with an upgrade.
