Cecilia Blomster
I'm a PhD candidate at Hanken and Helsinki Graduate School of Economics. As an empirical economist, I have experience in applying methods for causal estimation using Finnish register data. I'm a labor economist with a special interest in gender and family economics.
In my ongoing work, I study gender differences in promotions and their relation to the child penalty in earnings. My other research projects examine (i) the effects of graduating in a recession on family formation and (ii) the intergenerational transmission of family norms and fertility.
