About Centre for Corporate Responsibility (CCR)

CCR is a joint Research and Development Institute between Hanken School of Economics and University of Helsinki. 

CCR aims at enhancing the understanding of the  interactions between business, politics, and society –  particularly in relation to the societal impacts and responsibilities of business. It builds on research on 

• (1) the societal responsibilities of business firms in specific communities, in the national context, as well as globally, and
• (2) the interactions between business firms and various governmental and non-governmental actors.

Associated research fields include Corporate Social Responsibility / Corporate Responsibility (CSR/CR), business and society, business ethics, political economy, and responsible management education. 

CCR fosters in all its activities cross-disciplinarity and multi-stakeholder cooperation. Additionally it aims at promoting and developing research with high societal impact, relevance and accessibility to its stakeholders.

If you are a researcher at Hanken or the University of Helsinki and you'd like us to list you as an affiliated member please send us a short bio (for examples see here) and links to two open access articles/or similar that illustrate your work.

We are more than happy to give our members and stakeholders a platform or a soapbox - if you have any ideas for an event or a workshop topic do not hesitate to contact us and we will make it happen! We are organising the Responsible Organising stakeholder event every year in the fall - if you have an idea for a worksop or a panel get in touch! 

Our main activities are, however, research related that is how we can execute other things / events. We are happy to help you and support you in various research applications through coordination or collaboration - and we have a mission to particularly support early-stage postdocs in their funding endeavours.
