In collaboration with Novia University of Applied Sciences and Vaasa University of Applied Sciences (VAMK), Hanken is currently calling for expressions of interest in developing hydrogen infrastructure in the Ostrobothnia region, as part of the H2 Ecosystem Roadmap. The project, funded by the EU's regional development funds, has been approved by the Regional Council of Ostrobothnia.
Last 30 September and 1 October 2021 in Napoli (Italy), the sCience & human factOr for Resilient sociEty (CORE) consortium was ready to participate in the Kick-off meeting hosted by ISSNOVA with the joint organization of the University of Salerno, coordinator of the project. The meeting counted peak of 40 representatives of the 19 members that form CORE Consortium and has been held in a mixed form, online and live, due to the COVID emergency.

The mainstream approach to ensuring sufficient food and nutrition security is focused on production and consumption. New research shows that food security research and action need to emphasise distribution and retail in addition to agricultural production.
