The 4th Vaasa Banking Research Workshop
The 4th Vaasa Banking Research Workshop will take place on August 11, 2023, in Vaasa, Finland. The Workshop is organized by Hanken School of Economics and the University of Vaasa and will take place at the Hanken School of Economics campus in Vaasa.
The Workshop is a one-day event that aims to bring together scholars to present and discuss topical research addressing different aspects of banking, financial intermediation, and financial stability. Areas of interest include but are not limited to the following topics:
- Financial intermediation and regulation
- Financial stability and economic growth
- Corporate governance of financial institutions
- Sustainability and social responsibility in the banking industry
- Risk management and measurement
- Politics and banking
- Financial innovation and recent banking sector developments
The keynote speaker is Professor Iftekhar Hasan from Fordham University.
