The 4th Vaasa Banking Research Workshop
Den 4:e Vaasa Banking Research Workshop kommer att äga rum den 11 augusti 2023 i Vasa, Finland. Workshopen organiseras av Hanken Svenska handelshögskolan och Vasa universitet och kommer att äga rum på Hanken Svenska handelshögskolans campus i Vasa.
The Workshop is a one-day event that aims to bring together scholars to present and discuss topical research addressing different aspects of banking, financial intermediation, and financial stability. Areas of interest include but are not limited to the following topics:
- Financial intermediation and regulation
- Financial stability and economic growth
- Corporate governance of financial institutions
- Sustainability and social responsibility in the banking industry
- Risk management and measurement
- Politics and banking
- Financial innovation and recent banking sector developments
The keynote speaker will be Professor Iftekhar Hasan from Fordham University.
