Server updates: Shibboleth login service not working Friday morning

The Shibboleth software will be updated Friday 13.2 from 6:30 -ca 8:00. When the shibboleth login service is down, you cannot login to Moodle, the web and other services using Shibboleth.

Regular service windows are needed to update and keep the servers and their software uptodate and secure.

Friday morning, once a month, the Shibboleth/HAKA login services are updated.

Friday morning was chosen for regular updates as that is the time during the week the Shibboleth services are the least used.

We also want to remind you that Microsoft servers and software are updated regularly once a month Thursdays following the second Tuesday of the month. This cryptical time setting comes from the fact that Microsoft is sending their monthly updates American time Tuesday evening. THis THursday night the updates will be running 18:00 -.

The service window for WebOodi is the month´s first Monday in the morning.

Haris service break is the third Thursday of the month.
