SDG week seminar: Employment and work of people with disabilities

In this SDG week seminar, you will learn about the Convention of the rights of people with disabilities, labour market situation of people with disabilities and existing support mechanisms and policies. The seminar is moderated by Nikodemus Solitander, Associate Dean of Sustainability at Hanken School of Economics.

The speakers include:

  • Anni Mäki, specialist in education and working life at Invalidiliitto (The Finnish Association of People with Physical Disabilities)
  • Liisa-Maija Verainen, specialist in education and working life at Lihastautiliitto ry (The Finnish Neuromuscular Disorders Association)
  • Marju Teinikivi, speacilist in working life at Neuroliitto (Finnish Neuro Society)

The seminar's target audience is the university faculty and staff, as well as researchers and students interested in these issues. The seminar is free of charge and you may come to listen on-site or join online. The seminar is part of the SDG week at Hanken School of Economics and Hanken's Corporate Sustainability course.
