Welcome to the Season kick-off on 29 August

We will begin in the Assembly Hall with an overview of progress made and plans for Hanken’s future, and a presentation of the revised long-term strategy. In addition, we will get an update on the EQUIS reaccreditation process.

The official part will end with a presentation from Pernilla Gripenberg, PhD and Programme Director at Hanken & SSE Executive Education, about what can we learn about communication from top performing teams and individuals as well as how can we work with our own attitude to become more successful. Pernilla’s keynote is grounded in positive psychology and neuroscience.

After the official programme and some bubbly we will sit down and enjoy dinner in lecture hall Maxen. We estimate the dinner to end at approximately 9 p.m.

For the faculty and staff in Vaasa a separate dinner will be arranged in connection with the opening of the academic year on 4 September 2017. For those who wish to participate in Helsinki, the trips will be coordinated by Susanne Holmström. Please contact Susse with travel and accommodation arrangements. The Vaasa faculty and staff can also follow the presentations via webcast in auditorium 142.
