Rector presented the Hanken medal

During Hanken's traditional Christmas coffee on December 19, Rector Eva Liljeblom honoured members of the Hanken faculty and staff by handing out medals, badges for merit and rewards.

The Hanken Medal in silver was handed out to Professor Lars-Johan Lindqvist as recognition for his long-time commitment for the benefit of Hanken. Professor Lindqvist has also been granted the title of Commander of the Order of the Lion of Finland by the President of the Republic of Finland for his commitment to and achievements at the University.

Rector also honoured Lecturer Ulla Ladau-Harjulin, who has been granted the Order of the White Rose of Finland by the President of the Republic of Finland as a recognition for her nearly 40 year achievements in developing and modernising education in English both at Hanken and internationally.

In addition Rector handed an award to Senior Accountant Henrik Damström for his long-time, accurate and effective work within Hanken's financial administration. Lecturer Nikodemus Solitander and Associate Professor Martin Fougére were awarded for their efforts in developing the education at the School.
