Publication Rewards

The guidelines for rewarding faculty for the publication of scientific publications have been renewed and came into force on 1.5.2017. These guidelines will be applied for the first time by the Hanken Foundation on their September meeting. The new guidelines are applied in parallel with the guidelines dated 8.9.2014, until 30.4.2018, so that the most beneficial bonus from the researchers point of view will be realized.

The Hanken Foundation has on their previous meeting decided, that publications that were handled in the current reward round, will be handled again on the September meeting, provided that they fill the criteria in the new guidelines.

From now on there will be no deadlines announced for the rewards, since the publications are approved continuously and bonus decisions are made during every meeting by the Hanken Foundation. The list of proposed publications is based on current data in Haris. Because of this, it is increasingly important for the researchers to update the status of their publications in Haris. The status should be changed to Published, as soon as it is published and given a DOI-number by the publisher.
