Prize in the Emerald Literati Awards 2020 to Ioanna Falagara Sigala and Othmar Lehner

Ioanna Falagara Sigala, project researcher at the HUMLOG institute, receives the award for her article Outsourcing of humanitarian logistics to commercial logistics service providers Opens in new window .The article has been published in the Journal of Humanitarian Logistics and Supply Chain Management.

Othmar Lehner, Associate Professor and Director of the Center of Accounting, Finance and Governance at Hanken, gets the award for the article Building Institutional Legitimacy in Impact Investing Opens in new window . Lehner has written the article with Theresia Harrer and Madeleine Quast, and it has been published in the Journal of Applied Accounting Research.

In the price motivations, the editors of the journals where the texts have been published state that these texts are among the most exceptional works they have seen in 2019.
