Paula Koskinen Sandberg’s thesis awarded

The Hanken PhD Paula Koskinen Sandberg’s research areas are gender pay equity and Finnish wage policy from an equality perspective. Her thesis is called ”The Politics of Gender Pay Equity”.

The scholarship is awarded annually to meritorious research within relevant fields to the Akava union. Gender pay equity is an important topic for Akava and one of the reasons they decided to award Koskinen Sandberg’s thesis.

-I’m delighted to receive this scholarship in recognition of my work. It also shows that critical research is both allowed and appreciated in the Finnish labour market. I will use the scholarship for a research visit abroad, says Koskinen Sandberg.
