Schedule for the Ceremonial Conferment of Doctoral Degrees 2019
The schedule for each stage in the doctoral thesis process for those aiming at graduation in time for the Conferment was discussed. The recommended schedule will be distributed to the supervisors, departmental secretaries, and doctoral students. It will also be published in the doctoral student Facebook group and on the Hanken website. There will be a possibility for an extension of the timetable. This schedule is however extremely tight and there is a higher risk not to make the deadline to participate.
The first joint application in spring 2018
As of 2018 Hanken is part of the joint application to Business education in Finland. The entrance exam can be written in Finnish or Swedish, and the results required for admission are now nationally comparable.
Requirements and restrictions for participating in a course 2018-2019
There are still courses in the curriculum this autumn that have too strict limitations regarding requirements to attend a course. Maria Holmlund-Rytkönen continues the follow-up together with the Office of Study Affairs and the Heads of the departments in question.
Master’s seminars of 12 ECTS
All Master’s seminar courses will be 5 ECTS as of 1.8.2019. There are Master’s seminars that start in January 2019 and continue until December 2019, and in order to get 12 ECTS for the seminar in question, it needs to be completed in December 2019.
