Hanken Venture Studio introduces 'The Playground'

Are you interested in starting your own company but don't know where to start? Do you have a can-do-attitude? Are you based in Helsinki? Then The Playground is something for you! Apply now to the spring 2023 pre-incubator program.

What? A 16-week pre-incubator program designed to take you from idea to OY & first sale.

When? Last week of Jan, 2023 through the last week of May, 2023 with weekly meetings on Tuesday's from 16-18

Where? Hanken Venture Studio, located in Hanken's Helsinki campus basement

For whom? Anyone based in the Helsinki capital region who wants to start doing! This program is designed for first time entrepreneurs who need some accountability, inspiration, and knowledge to take their idea to sales. You do not need to have an idea already to apply. The only requirements are that you come with a can-do attitude and are willing to put 6-10 hours / week into the program. We will take the 10 'best' teams, with motivation and commitment to getting things done being our main criteria. We are less concerned with ideas and qualifications and more looking for work ethic and willingness to learn.

Expectations? We meet weekly for workshops on Tuesdays for two hours with speakers/coaches/mentors. You will be paired with a mentor who will meet with you 2x per month. Otherwise, you work on your own time, completing open ended tasks weekly. You should expect to put in 6 to 10 hours / week to move your idea forward.

What do you get by joining? A fast-track idea to MVP structure, access to the Hanken Business Lab & Venture Studio (a beautiful co-working space with free coffee and many other resources), one-on-one coaching, a personal mentor, discounted software packages, access to the Helsinki Campus Incubator's program (i.e. 7 university's resources), and peer-to-peer support.
