Hanken students successfully participated in the "Prüfung Wirtschaftsdeutsch"
The PWD Diploma is the highest level of qualification that can be obtained in Business German. It is an essential step for a place in the business world where communication between Finland, Germany and the other German-speaking countries is important. The German Language Centre at Hanken offers the course "Deutsch VI, Wirtschaftskommunikation" every year as part of its course programme, which is a preparatory course for taking this exam. The PWD exam consists of an oral and a written part. All participants in the Hanken course passed the exam with good results.
Students from Hanken have several times been awarded the prize for the best result of all Finnish participants. The prize is the Friedrich-Russegger Prize worth 250 euros, awarded by the German-Finnish Chamber of Commerce. The award ceremony was held on 2 June 2023 by Magnus Bargum, "Kommerseråd", and Konrad Arz von Straussenburg, German Ambassador in Finland.
