Hanken student Fredrika Gyllang awarded this year's Anders Wall scholarship
The award was presented at the concert house Musikaliska in Stockholm on Anders Wall´s 85th birthday 10 March 2016.
Alongside her studies at Hanken, Fredrika Gyllang has among other things led the network Startup Sisters with her two friends. It is an affiliate association to Föreningen för Entreprenörskap and is a non-profit association for students interested in entrepreneurship. She has also worked actively during her studies.
Now Fredrika Gyllang works in the startup company Moni that operates within the payment industry. Gyllang has worked in the company from its beginning and is today in charge of the company’s business development.
– I want to develop and challenge myself constantly. With the help of the Anders Wall scholarship I can pursue new experiences and knowledge, for example by participating in training programmes at top universities abroad, Gyllang says.
The Anders Wall scholarship of 125 000 SEK (approx. 13 500 euro) is the biggest scholarship awarded to a Hanken student. The Anders Wall Foundation annually awards SEK 2 million in scholarships to young entrepreneurial talents in the fields of research, young entrepreneurship, international studies, and culture. The Anders Wall Foundation brings together a large group of young people interested in entrepreneurship and introduces them to the alumni network, Wallumni, that arranges regular meetings for its members.
