Hanken School of Economics' medal was awarded during the opening of the academic year
In 1953 Hanken School of Economics' medal was founded, in gold, silver and bronze. The medal, awarded by the board, was this year given to the following medallists;
Professor Niklas Bruun, silver
Senior planner Mats Ceder, bronze
Chief planner Ulf Pensar, bronze
The medal, in silver or bronze, is awarded in recognition of significant academic achievement, pioneering contribution in economic initiative, long-term service at the university (25 years or more) or strong interest in Hanken and its activities.
The medallists were awarded during the opening ceremonies of the academic year in Helsinki and Vaasa on 1 and 2 September 2014.
