Hanken renews EQUIS accreditation
Hanken School of Economics has been awarded continued EQUIS accreditation until 2022 by the European Foundation for Management Education (EFMD). As a result, Hanken maintains its positions among the 1 % of business schools in the world that have been awarded the three most prestigious accreditations. In addition to EQUIS, Hanken is also accredited by AACSB and the Hanken Executive MBA Programme is accredited by AMBA.
- The renewed EQUIS-accreditation is additional proof of that Hanken is one of the leading business schools both in Finland and internationally. International accreditations ensure high quality within all our activities, with special focus on internationalisation and corporate connections as well as ethics, social responsibility and sustainability, says Hanken’s Rector Karen Spens.
Hanken has been EQUIS-accredited since 2000. The accreditation is awarded by EFMD, which has accredited business schools worldwide since the late 1990s. The accreditation is time-bound, which guarantees a continuous quality development.
- Strategic quality development with emphasis on high-quality research and study programmes that guarantee good career prospects for the students are crucial in order to stand out in the international competition. A key to Hanken’s success on all levels is that we maintain an attractive, inspiring and challenging environment for both students and personnel, states Karen Spens.
