Hanken is looking for a rector with two parallel recruitment processes that will be finished in May

The Board of Hanken uses two parallel processes in the recruitment of a new rector. The recruitment started on 10 March 2022. Applicants have been able to submit their own application, and then an external consultant also works with direct recruitment. Both channels have gathered interested applicants who meet the formal requirements.

The application period for the open application ended on 30.3.2022. A review of the candidates from the two recruitment groups is now underway. The most suitable candidates from the two recruitment groups will be ready by mid-May when the Board of Hanken conducts the final and decisive interviews. The Board is aiming to appoint the new rector at its meeting on 25 May 2022.

Hanken elects a new rector a year earlier than expected when the current rector Karen Spens was appointe rector of BI Norwegian Business School from 1.8.2022.

As only the names of those who applied through the open application are public information, Hanken chooses not to state the names of the applicants in our public communication channels at this time.
