Hanken has two new Exchange Agreements in Spain and Scotland

Hanken has signed new student exchange agreements with Esade Ramon Llull University in Barcelona, Spain and University of Aberdeen i Aberdeen, United Kingdom. You can apply for an exchange at these new partner universities for autumn semester 2025 as soon as the application round opens mid-december. Deadline for applications is 3 February 2025. You will find a short introduction to the new partners below.

Esade Ramon Llull University

Accommodation: Esade does not guarantee housing for students, but you will get information on some student options. In Sant Cugat, the Roberto de Nobili Residence Hall is on campus and less than 5 minutes from your classes. In Barcelona, students can stay at Residència Sarrià, which is about 25 minutes from the Sarrià FGC railway station. There is also a shuttle bus that goes to Sant Cugat Campus twice a day for a fee. In addition to these accommodations, there are plenty of other housing options in Barcelona and the surrounding area.

Accommodation: University accommodation is provided to exchange students as long as they apply by the stated deadline. Students will be emailed information on how to apply and the deadline for applications once they are accepted into the programme.

Most exchange and study abroad students opt to live in Hillhead Student Village, which is mainly a self-catered accommodation (ie no meal plan).
