Hanken granted funding for equality research
Hanken has, as partner of a consortium project, been granted funding from the Strategic Research Council at the Academy of Finland for the research project "Social and Economic Sustainability of Future Working Life: Policies, Equalities and Intersectionalities in Finland (WEALL)". This multidisciplinary project examines equalities and inequalities in worklife as regards, for example, urban and rural settings, age/generation, ethnicity, regionality, and gender.
The project is led by the University of Helsinki, partners in the consortium are Hanken and Jyväskylä University as well as a number of international partners in universities from Canada, United Kingdom and Lithuania.
The research team at Hanken consists of Charlotta Niemistö, Annamari Tuori, Jukka Lehtonen and Jeff Hearn. The project continues until the end of 2020.
