Hanken continues to attract top students
Hanken received a total of 1254 applications (2017: 1114) for the integrated BSc and MSc programme in Vaasa and Helsinki this year. As of 2018 Hanken is part of the joint admission to higher education in Finland. 60% of the applicants are admitted based on their results from the matriculation examination and 40% are admitted through an entrance exam, which was held on 6 June throughout Finland.
Of the 1254 applicants a total of 180 students were admitted to Helsinki and 70 to Vaasa. This year the admission through the Open University set a new record - 54 students in total will begin their studies at Hanken in the autumn 2017. These students have successfully completed Open University courses at Hanken during the past year.
