Annual doctoral thesis award to Hanken doctor Salla Pöyry

The OP Financial Group Research Foundation's annual doctoral dissertation award on EUR 10,000, has been presented to Salla Pöyry, DSc (Econ).

In her doctoral thesis 'Essays on Financial Market Frictions and Imperfections', Pöyry studies the limitations that decrease the efficiency of financial markets. The study examines price formation and the functionality of capital markets, particularly with regard to market limitations caused by prevailing institutional conditions or behaviour deviating from investor expectations.
